“My name is Andrea, middle initial I, last name Davis, the S is for suicide cause you’ll be killing yourself if I have sex with you, and if you are still confused the answer lies in my initials….she used to live fast but that life never pays, gave the wrong nigga play, and now she’s diagnosed with AIDS!”

In “Sick of Love,” The Prophecy spits a conceptual track with a storyline about falling in love with a woman with a dark and promiscuous past.  In addition to the lyrical content, listeners are drawn to “Sick of Love” because it sheds light on an issue plaguing young people in the Gay and Black communities, as well as, poverty-stricken countries and nations, that issue being HIV/AIDS.

I normally don’t blog things i don’t like but THIS IS RIDICULOUS. BEAUTY SEES NO FUCKING COLOR. you can be black, white, red, yellow, purple, brown etc. I know people are going to be like “well some darker skin girls don’t feel as pretty” If a simple picture of a brown MODEL makes you feel better about yourself, you need to do a self esteem check. because in a few months you’re not going to look back and be like “oh that picture of that skinny brown model helped my self esteem so much EVEN THOUGH I DONT LOOKE LIKE HER” seriously. I hate the fact that society makes people feel the need to do this. if your personality is beautiful, YOURE FLAWLESS regardless of your skin color.
